Legend has it that the Kaist clan had strange powers- that they could commandeer time itself to their wills. They were hunted for their powers, their numbers dwindling slowly until there was only three of them left.
Nobody knows what happened when those three used that power to defend themselves, but they all agree that Cre was changed- that many things were not as they should have been.
Kowari Seluja is a warrior-scholar looking for answers. His lifelong friend Caspian Kaist is a silent protector who already knows them.
